These Terms govern your use of knottyrestraints.com and any purchase you make through it. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Age Verification and Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use this site or place an order. By placing an order you represent that you meet that requirement, that the payment method you are using belongs to you, and that receiving adult products at your delivery address is lawful where you live.
We may cancel any order and close any account where we have reason to believe this section has been violated.
2. Account Registration
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your password secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us immediately at ew.feet@knottyrestraints.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Products, Fulfillment, and Third Party Distributors
Knotty Restraints is a retailer. We do not manufacture the products we sell. Our inventory is sourced through authorized adult product distributors, and orders ship directly from distributor warehouses to you.
Because inventory is held by third parties and their stock data updates on their schedule rather than ours, an item shown as available at the time you order may prove to be out of stock or discontinued. If that happens, we will notify you and refund that item in full. We are not liable beyond that refund.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in United States dollars and do not include shipping or applicable sales tax, which are calculated at checkout.
Prices are subject to change without notice. Placing an item in your cart does not lock in its price.
If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, a distributor data error, or a system error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you in full, whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will contact you before doing so.

5. Order Acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of that offer, not acceptance of it. The contract forms when we ship. Until then we may decline or cancel any order for any lawful reason, including suspected fraud, failed payment authorization, quantities suggesting resale, shipping restrictions, or a violation of these Terms.
6. Shipping
Shipping terms, processing windows, discreet packaging, international orders, and lost or damaged shipment procedures are described in full on our Delivery page, which is incorporated into these Terms.
7. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
Products that contact the body are not returnable once opened. This is not a preference. It is a health and safety requirement across the adult products industry, and it applies to every item that touches skin or mucous membrane, including but not limited to insertables, harnesses worn against the body, gags, hoods, sleeves, lubricants, and any item with a broken factory seal.
Unopened items in original, undamaged, factory sealed packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the item price. Original shipping is not refunded. Return shipping is your cost unless the return is our error. You must contact ew.feet@knottyrestraints.com for a return authorization before shipping anything back. Returns sent without authorization cannot be processed or refunded.
Defective items and items damaged in transit are covered. Contact us within seventy-two hours of delivery with photographs and we will arrange replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Manufacturer warranties on powered devices, electronics, and hardware are administered by the manufacturer. We will help you open a claim and point you to the right place, but the warranty itself runs from the manufacturer to you.
Non-returnable in all cases: opened body contact products, clearance and final sale items, gift cards, and any product returned in a condition that prevents resale.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within ten business days of our receipt and inspection of the return.
8. Safety, Assumption of Risk, and Product Use
Read this section carefully. It is the most important part of this agreement.
The products sold on this site include restraints, bondage equipment, impact implements, sensory devices, and related gear. These products carry inherent risk of physical injury, including serious injury and death, when used improperly, used without a partner present, or used by persons with certain medical conditions.
By purchasing from this site, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
You are solely responsible for the safe use of any product you purchase. You will educate yourself on safe practice before use, including circulation monitoring, nerve compression risk, positional asphyxia risk, and the use of an agreed safe word or non-verbal signal.
No restraint product sold on this site should ever be used on a person who is left unattended. A means of rapid release, such as safety shears or a quick release mechanism, must be immediately accessible at all times during use.
No product sold on this site is rated for suspension unless its manufacturer documentation expressly states a rated working load for suspension of a human body. Do not use restraints, cuffs, rope, or hardware for suspension based on appearance or on assumptions about strength.
Solo use of restraints carries a materially elevated risk of death. We do not recommend it under any circumstances.
Electrostimulation devices must never be used above the waist, must never be used across the chest, and must not be used by persons with a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, heart condition, epilepsy, or by anyone who is pregnant. Follow the manufacturer's documentation without deviation.
Products containing latex, nickel, or other common allergens may cause allergic reaction. Check materials before use. Test lubricants and body safe products on a small area first.
Products are sold for use between consenting adults. Any use of a product sold on this site to restrain, injure, or coerce a person who has not consented is unlawful and is a use we expressly prohibit.
Nothing sold on this site is a medical device. We make no medical claims. We provide no medical, psychological, or safety instruction, and any product description or educational content on this site is general information, not guidance for your specific circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you assume all risk arising from your use of products purchased from this site, and you release Humbler and Harness DBA Knotty Restraints from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from that use.
9. California Proposition 65
Certain products sold on this site may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Where a manufacturer has provided a Proposition 65 warning, it appears on the product page. Customers in California should review those warnings before purchase.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use this site to violate any law, to place fraudulent orders, to resell our products without written authorization, to scrape or automate access, to interfere with site operation or security, or to submit false information.
11. User Submitted Content
If you submit a product review or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty free, perpetual license to use, display, and reproduce it in connection with our business. You represent that the content is yours to submit. We may remove any submission at our discretion.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Except where expressly stated in these Terms and except for warranties that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, this site and everything sold through it are provided on an as is and as available basis. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Humbler and Harness DBA Knotty Restraints and its owners, officers, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or personal injury arising from your use of this site or any product purchased through it.
Our total aggregate liability arising from any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order
Some jurisdictions do not permit these limitations. Where that is the case, our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Humbler and Harness DBA Knotty Restraints from any claim, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of any product, or your violation of any law or third party right.
15. Chargebacks
If you have a problem with an order, contact us first. We resolve legitimate issues promptly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in account closure and referral of the debt for collection. Chargebacks filed in bad faith on orders that were delivered as described will be disputed with the full order and delivery record.

17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time you place an order governs that order. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California (CA) without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California (CA), and you consent to that jurisdiction.
19. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. These Terms, together with our Delivery, Secure Payment, and Legal Notice pages and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding this site.
